Main Street Church Life Team embraces the high calling of being a group of rescued rescuers. That is, we have been rescued by God through Christ. He did this while we were yet sinners facing an eternal peril yet having no ability to rescue ourselves.

We believe that God is most delighted when the fact of His gracious rescue grips our hearts and we, with an overflow of gratitude and joy, look after others in peril.

Members of the Life Team help fellow Main Street Church members, Christians and churches live out the fact that God's rescuing us in the gospel should result quite naturally and joyfully in our rescuing those in immanent physical peril, like the unborn, embryos, and related persons. A Life Team is a unified, trained, trustworthy, gospel-driven group in your church that helps it grow as a gospel-driven champion of life.  Because the gospel itself is a message of rescue, here is how we define the role of a Life Team:

A Life Team is a group of rescued people (congregants spiritually rescued in the gospel)

equipping other rescued people (other congregants spiritually rescued in the gospel)

to rescue people (those in grave peril both within and outside the congregation).
